About MapleHR

MapleHR was an internal HR platform used by 1,500+ employees.

I built the Flutter mobile app from scratch, working across application architecture, core employee workflows, API integration, testing and delivery.

The Product

The goal was to give employees a single mobile interface for common HR tasks instead of relying on separate manual or desktop-first processes.

The app covered more than a single workflow. It brought together day-to-day employee actions including Google OAuth authentication, leave management, expense claims, inventory and onboarding into one Flutter application.

That breadth meant the app needed a structure that could keep growing without each new module becoming tightly coupled to the rest of the codebase.

Building the app from scratch

I built the Flutter application from the ground up and established its MVVM architecture from day one.

The separation between views, application state and data access gave each module a predictable structure while still allowing shared pieces such as authentication, navigation and API handling to be reused across the app.
